......pu55y with a dingleberry suprise XP
good point, on metacritic there are only 3 reviews ; 65, 58, and 45. no bueno !
hopefully IW will get the rights to their franchise and stop this yearly sequel bullsh!t. including the spin offs and the console ports this will be the 6th or 7th call of duty game in 5 years.
looks purdy
this trailer looks fun http://www.gametrailers.com...
pimphandhappy, why dont you get your head out of resistance's ass and look at gears for what it is. or maybe if you like resistance so much, go write that in a resistance thread/forum instead? start a resistance fan club? Do some chimera cos-play? such a hypocrite, dissing this as a "PR sales pitch", then to go and give us a piece of Resistance's PR fact sheet. way to be a tool bag : )
you both make good points, but did you read this from the article?
"To be specific, there's no multiplayer in the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, because there is on the Wii, PSP, and DS."
he says theres no MP on 360/ps3 because its on the other versions. wtf?

ROFLcopter, i dont know what the fvck to call this. bipedal upside down cokc walker?
whens the last time they made a good one WITH him? : p
can i haz MS viral? i want to piss on the internetz for $$$ too !
fishy fingers- think they said in an interview that players can have different difficulty settings, i.e. i pick insane, friend picks easy, and then im supposed to get my ass kicked while my friend has it easy. this doesnt confirm it but the 4 player co-op has been strongly hinted at and is pretty much a given imo.
agree with dj, resistance sounds nasty on paper. the two different campaigns, one SP one Co-op is pure badassery. bigger battles i tend not to like since using the mic and co-ordinating teamwork becomes a clusterf*&k, but the vehicles and sh1t sounds cool. everything on Gears multiplayer still hasnt been revealed but its safe to say is both games will satisfy
blademask - lol clearly bullshots i remember that one well man. looking closely it doesnt seem too far fetched besides...
the original halo sold over 5 mill as a launch game. if its good it sells i dont see your point. again, Soul calibur was one of the best selling DC games as a launch title. Resistance sold well for a launch title, but telling ms to STFU is stupid since its a valid comparison.
everything sounds cool except the chainsaw battle. goes from "whoever holds down B first" to "whoever mashes B the fastest". what the fvck is that?
staight up, devil hunter ; you do that and you're a piece of sh1t. thats their work bro, often times Years of work; dont excuse it with some bullsh!t reason because its straight up thievery. i hope your house gets robbed and your pc gets stolen by some crackhead wanting to melt it for gold
good with me, i like to get new tech. im cool with it because its a hobby, and its not like i have to buy it RIGHT when it comes out if its not within my budget. important thing is for MS to not drop first party and third party support/exclusives like they did with xbox. that sh1t was lame, one year halo 2 ninja gaiden and fable came out, the next year was dead. *hoping this wont happen again*
my 360 was 400 at launch(plus about 20 in taxes but im leaving that out to keep it simple). over 5 years, 80/per year. one extra controller = $50 = 10/peryear. no disrespect but thats fvcking peanuts bro! those are my hardware costs so far anyway, getting a ps3 someday so ill end up spending almost a grand on hardware this gen. id agree that it does seem soon, but for a hobby/entertainment over those 5-6 years its not bad. sh1t thats at least the cost of a weekend in vegas!
the most telling fact of the 360/ps3 console war ; in less then a year ps3 went from $600 to $400 (comparing 60GB to 40GB). it took MS 2 + years for them to get the pro system from $400 to $300, even after significantly dropping their production costs within the first year. here's and article showing they dropped production costs almost %40 in the first year(also compares their production costs to ps3's costs at the time)
Im american, got that in a second (toe-knee). generalizing a nation makes you sound no smarter
